The Under 16 netball team braved the elements and dodged the downpours to claim the U16 Bolton Town Championships title in style. The team started strongly with a 19-0 win over Little Lever and never let up, winning all seven of their games and defeating a previously unbeaten Canon Slade 11-3 in the final game.
They finished the tournament with a 100% record, scoring 102 goals in just 49 minutes of netball, whilst conceding only 5. The standard of play was excellent all night.
Well done to Molly (captain), Lucy, Pippa, Isobel, Maebel, Nikita, Bella, Daisy-Lee and Carrie-Anne.
The win gave the team confidence as they headed into the National Schools Qualifying tournament. They played seven matches, winning five, and fought hard against a really tough group to finish third. A great achievement for the team.
