Pupils and staff at Beech House, the Infant School for children aged 4-7 years at Bolton School, have shown they are made of iron through large scale involvement in the Bolton Ironman weekend.
Five members of staff – Miss Findlay, Miss Niaz, Mrs Bateson, Mrs Dyson and Mrs Foster - took part in the Friday night family-friendly 5km Iron Night Run around the streets of Bolton and lots of boys and girls competed in Saturday’s Ironkids event, which saw Reception children run 500m and older ones running 1km.
Several members of staff from across the Bolton School campus also competed in Sunday's Iron Man race.
