Two Girls’ Division pupils in Year 8 have been selected to play for county netball squads. Nico Howarth was invited to join the Lancashire netball squad, while Sophie Neville will play for Greater Manchester.
Sophie is also one of five girls chosen to join the Under 13 Manchester Thunder Academy. The other players selected are Georgia Clarkson, Lois Cowin, Willow Greer and Molly Neville.
