Children across Bolton School's Primary Division got into the spotty spirit to raise £1,125.24 for Children in Need this year!
Spots and Pudsey ears were very much in evidence at the Junior Boys' and Junior Girls' Schools, where pupils added colourful accessories to their normal school uniform in exchange for donations. The Junior Girls' total was £385.35, and the Junior Boys raised £182.70.
The Infant School enjoyed a pyjama day for Children in Need: the whole school, including teachers and the Pre-School Class, dressed in their sleepwear for the day and donated money to the cause. In assembly, the children learned why their fundraising is so important and the difference it will make to less fortunate children. The Infants raised a total of £503.20.
Even the Nursery got involved with Bolton School's youngest children coming in on the day dressed in cute spotty and Pudsey-themed outfits! They enjoyed colouring in Pudsey in each of the rooms, and the children also played spotty activities and baked cakes. Families at the Nursery raised £54.
