Three pupils at Bolton School Girls’ Division have been selected for the U19 National Lacrosse Programme. During the summer holidays, Ella Brophy (Y11), Chloe Ferguson (Y13) and Martha Halford (Y12), having shown promising talent at the regional level, travelled south to Hertfordshire to attend the U19 National Lacrosse Academy trials and to compete against some of the best players in England for a place on the programme. After a tough and tiring couple of days, all 3 girls were thrilled to receive news of their selection onto the squad.

This is a fantastic achievement, as the Academy will now offer them a chance to be selected onto the Under 19 England Team to represent their country.
