Bolton School Girls’ Division has raised £459.22 for MacMillan Cancer Support.
The money was raised through a MacMillan Coffee Morning and cake sales held on Friday 24 September. Sixth Form students baked cakes and biscuits and sold them to Senior School pupils and the teaching staff followed suit – baking and selling their wares in the staffroom.
Abby from MacMillan said:
'We can't thank Bolton School enough for Baking a difference! That is the most amazing total and could help run a medium Macmillan benefits advice service centre for over a day, helping people affected by cancer to find information and support. Thank you!'
