Year 6 pupil Ashton Morrissey from Bolton School Junior Boys’ School, represented Bolton with distinction this weekend at the Greater Manchester Cross Country Championships.
Ashton finished in 14th place overall out of 99 runners and was the second finisher for the Bolton team. The Bolton team finished in 5th position overall.
Teacher Mrs Brisk said: ‘Well done to Ashton for representing Bolton and running a brilliant race, we are all very proud of you at Bolton Sport and at Park Road!’
