Senior Girls Fundraising

The annual Year 10 Christmas Post sweet sales went ahead in the final week of term to raise money for charity. This year’s cause, chosen by pupils, was Period Poverty: a UK charity working to ensure all women have access to sanitary protection during their period, and to eliminate period poverty in Britain’s most deprived communities by 2025.

The Year 10 forms set up their competing stalls all around the school to see who could raise the most funds by selling sweets, treats, drinks and trinkets. The final sum raised was £1,862.67.
