Senior Girls Fundraising

With all monies having now been collected in, the Prefects’ Panto at Bolton School Girls’ Division has raised £289.40 for the charity William’s Gift.

The popular, traditional event sees Sixth Form girls writing a short and comedic play caricaturing their teachers and then acting it out in front of the younger year groups. This year’s skit was based on ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarves’.

William’s Gift is a local charity that is dedicated to the memory of William, a 6 year old boy who sadly passed away due to a very rare disease called Total Intestitinal Aganglionosis. The charity aims to provide care packages to children and their families in hospital with serious and life-limiting conditions. William was known for his beautiful smile and this charity aims to cheer up other children in hospital with a ‘little box of smiles’ and family ‘care packages’ of essential items to make things just that little bit easier for a while.
