Over 200 boys aged 7-11 years from Park Road, the Junior Boys’ School at Bolton School, took to the Levels last Friday afternoon after the end of Term exams and to raise funds for four well deserving charities. Team Seas, Alder Hey Children’s Charity, Cancer Research UK and the Make a Wish Foundation were all set to benefit from the boys’ fundraiser which usually raises thousands of pounds.
This year’s costumes were as colourful and imaginative as ever with a noticeable Royal theme throughout as the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee draws near. The teaching staff all donned Union Jack colours and, like the pupils, worked in tag teams as they sought to complete as many laps as they could.
